Women use most of the same preening gestures as men (see here) like smoothing their hair, straightening their clothes, foot and body pointing towards the male they are interested in. They can also demonstrate the hands in pockets with thumbs protruding gesture although they are much more subtle typically a thumb on their belt, or protruding from their handbag.

Head Tossing

Typically the woman will flick her head back to throw her hair behind her. Even women with short hair will do this, possibly to show their face off.

Sideways Glance

Women hold a man’s gaze for slightly longer than normal just long enough for him to notice and then she quickly looks away.
